Seven renew are delighted to announce the successful completion of the former dairy redevelopment at Fordhall Farm.

Seven have worked closely with Shropshire Council’s Conservation Officers to sensitively remodel, extend and restore the original building to create new office space for Fordhall Community Land Initiative (FCLI), a farm shop, butchery, tea room and classroom to help educate young people about food provenance and to provide opportunities for community involvement in a working organic farm.

Throughout the development we have embraced appropriate sustainable technologies such as sheep’s wool to insulate the roof, ‘hemp-crete’ to build and insulate the walls, blown recycled newspaper to insulate the floors, roof mounted photo-voltaics to gather energy from the sun to convert into electricity and an air source heat pump to extract and recycle heat from expelled air.
architecture and design,

[with a few digressions.]
